Who Else Wants To Know the Tips, Techniques & Secrets to Raise a Healthy and
Happy Guinea Pig?
Hello fellow Guinea Pig Lovers,
Chris Short here,
Are you thinking about getting a guinea pig? Did you just get a New
Guinea pig and have no idea how to care for it? Does your New Guinea
pig look sick and is losing his energy? If so read on. Here at the
Guinea Pig Resource Center we have worked hard to put together
resources for new and experienced guinea pig owners.
While guinea pigs are incredibly popular pets, few people take the time
to learn about guinea pig care and health BEFORE they bring their new
friend home. Taking the time to learn a little information can save a
lot of time, money, and heartache later on. You see, the thing is,
guinea pigs are delicate creatures - they get sick easily and sadly,
sometimes they die. What most people don't realize is - this is
completely preventable as long as you set up your guinea pigs' cage
correctly and provide them with proper diet and attention from the very
beginning.
Discover the Three Key Points Top Guinea Pig Experts Don't Want You to Know:
1. You must learn how to set up your cage properly.
2. You must maintain quality cage conditions.
3. You must know how to recognize signs of illness and what measures
to take should your guinea pig become ill.
Revealed for the First Time to the General Public: Here is a Sneak Peek of
what we are going to cover on our site and in our Free mini e-course:
* How to set up and maintain a guinea pig cage and maintain a healthy
environment.
* How to choose a healthy guinea pig.
* Bringing your New Guinea pig home for the first time.
* How to properly introduce a new guinea pig to his new cage mates.
* What to feed and what not to feed your guinea pig. Guinea pigs are
herbivores but some plants, leaves, and flowers are poisonous.
* Why your choice of bedding can have the greatest impact on your
guinea pig's health and longevity.
* How to identify and treat common illnesses.
* A guide to the guinea pig accessories you need...and those you
don't.
* And much much more!
Guinea Pigs: A brief introduction
Guinea pigs, or "Cavies" - short for Cavia porcellus, are
understandably very popular pets due to their affection nature and easy
care. Guinea pigs are rodents that likely originated in the Andres
mountain region of South America - not Guinea as the name implies (of
course, they aren't "pigs" either...) Guinea pigs evolved in the wild
as food for both land and air predators and this is the reason that to
this day many are so nervous. Originally guinea pigs would have lived
in herds led by a single dominant male that had exclusive breeding
rights to the females. Guinea pigs are naturally social creatures that
use their unique squeaks and squeals for communication - including
warning each other about approaching predators. Guinea pigs are
herbivores, meaning they eat an exclusively vegetarian diet. One of the
most interesting facts about guinea pigs is that unlike humans, their
teeth grow continuously and are meant to be worn down through gnawing.
Why We like Guinea Pigs So Much
Guinea pigs have been popular pets since the 1600's when Dutch traders
brought the first animals to Europe. Yes, Queen Elizabeth I had one!
* Guinea pigs are social creatures that can form tight bonds with
owners as well as other pets.
* Guinea pigs have wonderful personalities full of love, curiosity,
and energy.
* Guinea Pigs are small and don't need as much room as a larger
animal. This is an ideal pet for someone who lives in an apartment
and who my not have access to a large yard or park.
* Guinea Pigs do not need long walks.
* Guinea Pigs do not need to be "let out" to use the bathroom

Find other ZORGIUM pages using your favorite search engine:
Enter your search keyword(s) and the keyword "zorgium" into the search input field of
http://bing.com,
http://yahoo.com or
http://google.com.
Heads up: There's an ongoing spamdexing of Google searchbot algorithms. Sites that are 'copies of copies' and cloaked sites which include Zorgium keywords presented to search engine crawlers yet garbage content presented to human visitors were hosted on thousands of IP addresses and domains registered immediately after the introduction of Zorgium in November of 2009. The Hostgator/'The Planet'/Softlayer datacenters in Texas seem to be the epicenter of this activity in conjunction with anonymously registered domains of various TLD's but primarily .info domains at Godaddy which, in our opinion, has some sort of connection to the domains of goldmint.in and goldmint.org. Google has begun to notice this and has begun to lower the ranking of these sites and put our original sites back on top of the search rankings. These actions, as far as we can tell, negatively impact the use of the keyword 'zorgium' as a search term and provided little benefit, if any, to the perpetrators.
ZORGIUM note to content providers: If you don't want your page to appear in Zorgium's search abstraction then put an exclusion for "Zorgium" in your web server's robots.txt file.
